Lois Vinsel opened LOLA, a home furnishing & gift shop in the Elmwood neighborhood of Berkeley, CA in 2006. The shop featured a unique collection of original art, handmade gifts and thoughtfully made furnishings. Products from LOLA were featured in publications such as the New York Times, California Home + Design, and Remodelista. After working on interior design projects while LOLA was open, Lois closed the shop in 2011 and turned her focus to interior design full time and Lola Home Design was born.

In 2019, friend and frequent collaborator Katie Baum hired Lois to design and oversee the build-out of Radiate Studio in Sebastopol, CA.

After completion of the studio in March 2020, Lois took on a sweet niche role at Radiate that included web and graphic design, copywriting, and brand management.

The experience at Radiate was one of growth & renewal, and gratitude, for the opportunity to make lemonade from COVID lemons! As a result, Lois now brings an expanded skillset and depth to her design work.
